Tuesday, September 23rd

Howdy everyone!

I have put in a work order so that we can get the computers fixed. Until then, just hold tight and be patient. Otherwise, here is what we are doing today!

Classwork:
  • Warm-up: First 10 minutes of class-find an article on-line that has something to do with geography and tell me how it is important to us now. You and a partner will research this and present this to the class. This is part of class participation points.
  • Students are then put into groups that Ms. Delano has selected.
  • PowerPoint guideline worksheets are passed out and read over by the class. These are the requirements that you will be asked to complete for your project and presentation that is due this week.
  • PowerPoint rubrics will be handed out and discussed. It is important that you know just what I expect of your group.
  • I will give groups 15-20 minutes at the end of class to start researching their projects.

Due at the end of the period:

  • Before you leave class you need to tell me what topic your group will be researching.

Homework:

  • If you have not already turned in the yellow packet of rules for my class, you have until Wednesday, September 24th.
